ICC CEO in Mumbai on Tuesday

The chief executive of the International Cricket Council Malcolm Speed will arrive in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Though it's not an official visit, Speed is likely to hold discussions with Indian cricket administrators on the sponsorship tangle, which is threatening to jeopardise next month's Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka.

It is still not clear if Speed will travel to Bangalore, where top Board of Control for Cricket in India officials will assemble for its crucial working committee meeting on Tuesday.

BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah told PTI in Bangalore that Speed's visit had nothing to do with the BCCI. "He will be in Mumbai on Tuesday morning, but I am not aware whether he will go anywhere else," he said.
